Silverton

A few months back I was standing on the Mundi Mundi plains lookout, pretty much right where a shot from Mad Max was produced. It was quite surreal, especially since that particular day was extremely overcast and the winds howled across the plains at high speeds. I shot a few rolls of Portra around the Silverton area. I do regret not having some Ektar with me but I think I like the tones anyway. It’s wonderful, daunting country out there. How frightening it would be to get lost in a place like that. It’s the beginning of the desert. A gateway to nowhere. All shot on Contax 645 with Kodak Portra 160.
