Over the last 7 years I’ve been travelling all over Australia and beyond, telling over 300 wedding stories with pictures. It’s the primary focus of my work and something that I have a deep passion for. I feel like I have been extremely lucky to have found my dream job. The challenge of putting all the wonderful things that happen on a wedding day in my camera is something I look forward to every time I head out the front door.
Family photography is something I have been doing regularly for over ten years now. It’s the first thing I offered professionally all those years ago. I love the magic of photographing children and the family unit. Over time, I have found that the images that resonate the most with me and my clients are the ones that happen by themselves so I try not to control things too much. Natural moments in relaxed, fun environments is where I thrive. This is extremely important when photographing kids. I want to capture who they really are. Running, jumping, playing in the dirt & cheeky behaviour is always encouraged.
For me, there’s just no better way to spend an afternoon than exploring a sweet location with a loved up couple and a camera. Adventure is the key. Everything works so much better when we’re doing something together to take our minds off the camera. Climbing a mountain, chilling on the beach, hiking a trail, basking in the grass in front of the setting sun or exploring a haunted house. It’s all good! Simply talking, laughing and making pictures together is the best recipe for celebrating and documenting such a special time in your relationship.
